Hi I’m Tina Multhauf!
I grew up in the country, outside of Rochester and attended Waterford schools. I was a girl that liked to be outside working in the shop with my Dad, mowing the lawn- keeping straight lines of course, helping my Mom plant annuals every year as well as dirt biking and snowmobiling. During high school, my parents were adamant that I go to college and earn a college degree in something. I obeyed and after my freshman year in college while I was at UW-Stevens Point, I figured out what I wanted to continue my education with. I quickly transferred to UW-Platteville and ultimately earned, in 2008, my bachelor's degree in Ornamental Horticulture with an Emphasis in Landscape Design.
Ever since I was in Grade School I have had an interest in plants and being outside. I worked at a floral shop, a few greenhouses, and a landscaping company in the Waterford and surrounding area. It was at those places that I found that I really enjoyed working with plants, learning about them as well as being outside. I knew I wasn't necessarily a desk job type of gal. Which motivated me to acquire a degree in Horticulture and ultimately own Skyline Landscape Design.
I am blessed to have married my high school sweetheart, Jaime, in 2010. We now have three handsome little boys- Noah, Jed, and Beau. We have a sweet black lab- Bailey and 2 mischievous barn cats- Minnow and Laceys . My husband, Jaime, is a big part of Skyline, mostly behind the scenes though because most of his time is occupied by his regular job. He is an Application Specialist for Lenox Band Saw Blades. When he isn't working his normal job, he helps maintain and repair Skyline's equipment. I lean on him often for advice and guidance and greatly appreciate that.
Both of my parents grew up on farms, so I was raised with a similar mentality. In my upbringing, I learned how to be honest and respectful towards others, be accountable for my actions and work hard. To this day, I feel I still am holding true to those values in both my business and personal life and am going to do my best to instill those same attributes while raising my boys.
I enjoy creating useful, functional and enjoyable landscapes for all of our customers. I take pride in the fact that our customers are genuinely happy and appreciative of all the work that myself and my crew does for them. Very rarely do I have dissatisfied customers, but if a problem does come up I always make it right to the best of my ability. Even though this has been a very challenging career path, I wouldn’t have it any other way because challenges always keep me striving to be the best. We always strive for excellence when maintaining and installing landscapes that is what sets our company apart from the rest. I always say, "The point of a landscape is to look nice, otherwise what is the point?"
I look forward to helping create the outdoor spaces that you want!
Hi My name is Kimberly Peterson and I manage the maintenance accounts here at Skyline landscape design. My love for the outdoors has been a part of me since I was a little girl and now has grown into a career with Skyline. I attended Gateway Technical College in Kenosha for a degree in Horticulture after high school. I was hired at Skyline as an intern while I was studying for my degree and I will now be going into my 8th year in the spring of 2020. Also while I was attending college I met my now husband, Ross, who also shares a passion for the outdoors. He really is my best friend and I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn' t for his love and support. We were married in October of 2016 and welcomed our precious little boy Levi into the world on May 31st 2019. He is amazing and being a parent is truly one of the best, most rewarding vocations. As a family we enjoy taking boating trips with our antique wooden boat and making new memories every day with our son. I have been blessed tremendously throughout this 8 year journey with different learning experiences and I also have a wonderful boss who I can say is a very good friend as well.
My name is Shannon and I've been with Skyline crew since the beginning of 2017. I grew up in the Waterford/ Burlington area and graduated from Burlington High School. What I love about working here at Skyline, is not only being able to spend my work days outdoors but the satisfaction and reward that comes with transforming a landscape. I love challenges and learning new things everyday.
Outside of work I enjoy hunting, spending time with family, and going on little adventures with my dog Boone. I am very grateful for my family and friends along with my Skyline family! They motivate me everyday.
My name is Michaela. I grew up in Honey Lake, WI. Recently my fiancé and I purchased our first home in July 2018. Being recently engaged I am spending a lot of time planning our wedding for August 2020. I grew up always having horses and participating in 4-H, WIHA along with many open shows. I was very lucky that my parents supported such an expensive hobby. Along with horses a few other hobbies I have are hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors. I always look forward to going up to Waupaca with my dad for deer hunting.
My passion for landscaping came from my dad. He has been landscaping since he was about 15. I would always go along with my dad to his landscape/tree jobs. Growing up I always looked up to my dad and knew I wanted to be just like him. When I heard about an opportunity at Skyline it was meant to be. I was hired back in 2016 and I have enjoyed every day since. It is not often you are blessed with an amazing positive work atmosphere. I am lucky to be apart of such a wonderful family here at Skyline.
Hi my name is Corinne and I am 23 years old. I got engaged new years eve and will be getting married May of 2020. I am currently in school for interior decorating and organizing. This is my second season with Skyline and this year I took on the role of leading my own crew. It has been a great learning experience and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow with Skyline. Outside of work I really enjoy fishing, kayaking, being out on the boat, hunting, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and of course decorating. I also love time with my family and friends, camping, and being around a fire. I am excited for next season and more opportunities to gain knowledge in the landscape. Being with Skyline is having a second family and I am so grateful!
Hello! My name is Elizabeth Weidner, and this is my second season working for Skyline!
I turn nineteen in November, and I decided to take a gap-year instead of going straight to college in hope to do some more self-development & exploration!
I was born in Burnsville, Minnesota and moved to Burlington, WI when I was very young. I love to travel, whether that’s with my family, church, or by myself, and I hope to embark on some road-trips & mini vacations during my year off of schooling.
In my free time you can find me with my friends or family, four-wheeling, kayaking, skiing, creating videos, snowmobiling, and participating in almost anything "outdoorsy" all year round.
Skyline is the perfect opportunity for me to get outside and stay active, while using my knowledge and skills to help others, and continue to gain even more new knowledge while being surrounded by wonderful people!
See you around,
Hello, my name is Hailey.
I've always had a passion for the outdoors. Growing up I loved fishing, hunting, camping and finding new adventures along the way. I've carried these traits with me as I've gotten older including photography and spending quality time with friends and family. My boyfriend and I are expecting a little girl in November 2019 and we couldn't be more excited for this new part of our lives.
This is my second season working for the company as Administrative Assistant. I love the environment I work in; especially when I have a chance to get out of the office and work alongside the crew outside. The positivity and family-like environment make it an enjoyable place to be. I look forward to learning and growing with this company.
Hello my name is Sydney. I enjoy riding my horse, hanging out with friends and enjoy being outside. This is my first season here at Skyline on the maintenance crew and I have enjoyed every minute of it. I am looking forward to what the future holds for me here at Skyline.
Skyline Landscape Design is a committed team that installs unique landscapes and maintains them at a fair price. We produce an excellent product to all of our customers, each and every time, with a smile. We have an immense amount of knowledge and pay attention to the detail that our competition most often doesn’t. Our 8 points of culture is our foundation to our everyday workings, which enables us to achieve such success and keep our customers coming back to us time after time.
To be the premier landscape company in our area; preferred by customers for the one of a kind projects we install and maintain, continually exceeding our customer’s expectations and with a team that is happy- cares about others, what they do and the company as a whole.
Points of Culture
1- Commitment- When I say I am going to do something it is of utmost importance to me that I follow through with what I say. I am a believer that “actions speak louder than words” I am committed to the Vision, Mission, Culture and success of Skyline.
2- Ownership- I am truly responsible for my actions, both failures and successes. I own everything that that I do in both my business and personal life.
3- Integrity and Honesty- I share what I know as the truth. I deliver what I promise. I only say what I am going to do, only if I am willing and intend to do so. When a problem does arise I always respond in a matter of respect so that a positive resolution can be achieved.
4- Excellence- Good is not excellent. I always strive to deliver products and services that are of the best quality that add value to all involved. I am always looking to where we can learn something new and improve to achieve excellence.
5- Positive Communication- I always engage in open positive communication with my fellow team members and clients. Communicating positively is the only way an excellent result can occur. I say what I mean and mean what I say. I show gratitude often, to all who help me along the way, no matter how big or small the gesture is.
6- Education- I learn something new on a daily basis. When I make an error or mistake I learn from it and figure out how to make sure that it does not happen again. I continually am educating myself, my team and clients about relevant and practical matters.
7- Team Work- An awesome team working together positively is how our mission can be accomplished. I am a team player and team leader. Our team does whatever it takes to stay together and achieve the team goals together. We offer a helping hand when asked as well as use forward thinking offering a hand when it looks like a hand could be lent.
8- Faith, Family & Fun- I share my Christian faith and family values with my team and clients when an opportunity allows. I stress the importance of both in their lives and allow them as well as myself to take time for those things when necessary. Life is too short to be doing something that you don’t ever enjoy on a regular basis. I make sure to incorporate fun, often, when it is appropriate. When a task is not always fun, fun needs to be created in some way- it will make the doing of the task as well as the result better!
